BIO
While most people might write their bios in third person form, I will write this in first person form:
My name is Andrew Bruegger (pen name; And-e) and I am a teenage writer who has been writing since I can remember.
I began my writing habits with short stories during my earlier grade school years (influenced by the goosebumbs book series). From there I began writing poetry and rap pieces based on the secular lifestyle that I was living out during my jr.high school and grade school years.
When I started my freshman year of high school I became a Christian and from there I began changing the style of my art to having more of a positive outlook and cleaner approach. During my senior year of high school I began writing short spoken word pieces to reflect how I feel and what I have experienced with a new approach.
A find a lot of my influence in the music around me (local artists such as Tokyo, Storyeller and Terrell K), the art I enjoy (artists such as Martin Catterton, Karla Ruiz, Kevin Barnes, Dali), and movies I watch (Tim Burton films primarily), and the things I have experienced. My testimony is too long to say here, however, I hope that you will gather a bit of what I have been through by reading some of the pieces I have submitted here.
